My 24 Yr Old Son Was Just Diagnosed With Mono,

My 24 yr old son was just diagnosed with mono, he is in the hospital , being given medication. My concern is that is in in the army, getting ready to start phase 2 of his flight training. Will this illness prevent him from participating in physical training, which is required in the army. He is very sick right now. Thank you so much for any information.
