My 25 Year Old Daughter Has Tonsillitis And Has Been

My 25 year old daughter has tonsillitis and has been prescribed Cilicane VK phenoxymethylpenicillin 500 msg twice a day. She has only had 2 tablets ( one last night and one early this morning) but isn't getting any better. Can she take 3 tablets in a 24 hour period?
