My 29 Year Old Daughter Cut Her Hand While Washing

My 29 year old daughter cut her hand while washing a knife and went to the ER where they cleaned
the wound, gave her a tetanus shot and she needed 5 stiches. This was on Sunday morning
but today after work her whole arm is a little swollen and aches. Is this normal?
