My 3 Month Old Son Gets Into These Hysterical Crying

My 3 month old son gets into these hysterical crying fits when he's hungry, lately, during these fits his legs turn bright red and when he finally calms down and his color comes back i see broken blood vessels all over his legs, what can be the cause of this?
