My 3 Year Old Son Has Had An On And

My 3 year old son has had an on and off fever for the past two days nothing higher then 101 he sometimes says his eyes hurt but it seems to be more at bed time or around the time he is tired. When he gets sick his eyes get puffy and red he isn't dehydrated and now he has a cough and a rough voice. Should I be worried or does it sound like a common cold or flu virus?
