My 35 Yr Old Son Was Bitten By What Looks

My 35 yr old son was bitten by what looks like a black widow spider from the fang marks. This happened this afternoon. The bite mark is slightly infected. He has no pain or other symptoms . Will he be ok to wait till morning to see our doctor in stead of going to er?
