My 4 Year Old Daughter Has Been Diagnosed With Osteochondrosis

My 4 year old daughter has been diagnosed with Osteochondrosis of her Navicular bone. she complained of pain about a year ago and we took her to a doctor. the doctor said it was growing pains or "behavioral". she said our daughter wanted attention. after she complained again we took her in again. after almost a year, we took her to a new doctor. he ordered x-rays and the osteochondrosis was found. how much damage/pain could have been avoided and how much would this affect her long term health or chance for full recovery?
