My 4 Year Old Grandson Has Been Sick For Several

My 4 year old grandson has been sick for several days..cough and some fever. I took him to doctor yesterday..no fever but a cough. He got a RX for Bactrim..he has had 3 doses now. He has coughed all day and now he is running a 103 fever...should we take him back to the doctor?
