My 4 Year Old Has Several Mosquito Bits From Playing

My 4 year old has several mosquito bits from playing out in yard last night. He came into our room at about 2 am and flopped in bed consistently for five hours, his body temp was extremely hot. It's also possible he is going through a growth spurt. This morning his temp was 99.6, he seems fine and is acting normal. Should we be concerned?
