My 5 Year Old Has Thrown Up Twice In School

My 5 year old has thrown up twice in school and several times at home when she is sick and starts to cough. I think she as a hard time controlling her gag reflex. Is this something she will improve on as she gets older or could it be something else? She has had several sinus infections and colds since starting Kindergarten.
