My 5 Year Old Needs 4 Fillings And 2 Root

My 5 year old needs 4 fillings and 2 root canals. He has allergies and sensitivities so we have to have him gassed to do the procedure. We brush and floss twice a day but still needs these treatments. They want to do a root canal in his back molars and I am reading too much on google, Do we opt to remove the teeth or save them with a root canal and caps with the risk of having to pull them anyway in the near future.
