My 50 yr. old daughter has PKD as well as polycystic liver disease. Recently, due to pain discovered by ultra
sound that she has a 12 cm. cyst on liver. Treatment suggested was intervention radiologist to drain cyst. Since I do not believe the hospital here has performed this type of procedure, I am concerned. Should she have it done at a University hospital, as at UVA which is over an hour from here. What is your recommendation. Thank you for your time.
