My 51 Year Old Brother Has Brain Cancer; After A

My 51 year old brother has brain cancer; after a tumor was partially removed last August. His short-term memory seems to be getting worse. He had an MRI in mid March and is on steroids but is progressively not aware of surroundings, dates, etc. We were told his memory will not improve but it seems to be deteriorating. Is this "normal?"
