My 6 Year Old Daughter Has A Soft White Raised

My 6 year old daughter has a soft white raised lump about the size of a penny on the inside of one of her toes. It has a black dot in the middle. I am treating it with Salactol every evening. Do I need to do anything else? I put a plaster on it at night when i've applied the Salactol but this seems to be keeping the lump moist but I do this to keep the Salactol away from the toe at the side.....
