My 6 Years Old Kid Got Hit To The Iron

My 6 years old kid got hit to the iron rod on the leg (below the knee).he got swelling in that area, initially he didn't cried after 2 hours he started crying a lot,( while living on the bed) not allowing to touch that a swelling part.but he's able to walk slowly. Can u pls suggest wat to do to decrease pain.
