My 7 Year Old Daughter Had A Fever Of 38.9C

My 7 year old daughter had a fever of 38.9C - I have her Neurofen and it dropped to 38C and two hours later I gave her an Empaped suppository and it finally took her temp down to normal. Now she's sleeping and her temp is well below 37C but she is drenched in sweat and very restless. Is this because the fever has broken? Do I take the covers off and allow her to cool down?
