My 7 Yr Old Had A Bout Of Facial Eczema

My 7 yr old had a bout of facial eczema that fall and winter that was very difficult to treat. So far this year he hasn't had any issues. Tonight he showed me his "bumps" on his elbows. They r white/flesh colored. I put cetaphil lotion on them and they burned and turned red. Could this b more eczema in a different form. Should I use some of the steroid creams I have?
