My 74 Year Old Mother Has Recently Noticed Changes In

My 74 year old mother has recently noticed changes in the shape of her skull with the changes being on top of her head, the changes are a flat part on top with sharp boney protrusions on either side. She has no neurological changes that I have noticed. I am wondering if this is normal with age or is this something that needs to be addressed with her physician.
