My 75 Year Old Mother Has Been Sick With The
My 75 year old mother has been sick with the flu for 5 days. Symptoms 2-3 days earlier of a sore back/shoulder. She is drinking and had chicken soup today but hasn't eaten much since Sunday.
A locome doctor visited yesterday and said she has a chest infection. She has coughed up over 2 cups of mucus. She is on panedene forte and antibiotics.
She currently coughs for severals minutes evevrry 15 minutes. She is sleeping at present. She is pale with black rings around the eyes.
Would you advise she go to hospital?
