My 75 Year Old Mother (who Had A Stroke February

My 75 year old mother (who had a stroke February 2014), came upstairs today and asked my wife if she burnt toast. My wife didn't make any toast nor baked anything in the oven today that would create that smell. We do know that she is in the beginning stages of Alzheimer's. I called her primary, but they left for the day.

Should we take her to the hospital?
