My 78 Year Old Dad All Of A Sudden Became

My 78 year old dad all of a sudden became constipated alot of stomach bloating weakness, hasnt had a bowel movement in 2 1/2 weeks and has only gone to bathroom with prescribed laxatives - (no new meds hasn't changed eating habits) and can't even make it to the bathroom with his walker - His dr ordered a CT Scan of stomach and havent heard anything in terms of results? Problem he's having is the laxatives are making him even weaker. If he doesn't take them for a day or two , nothing happens. Your thoughts?
