My 78 Year Old Mother Had A Fall And Hit

My 78 year old mother had a fall and hit her head. She has lacerations and swelling around her eye socket. Thankfully multiple CT scans have shown no change in the minor bleeding on her brain. She is alert and appears to be doing well but we have noticed her hearing has gotten noticeably worse. Is that possible, will it get better. Should we ask for some tests?
