My 78 Yr Old Father Keeps Having Bouts Of Light

My 78 yr old father keeps having bouts of light headiness nausea almost like hot flash at times. Been to Dr nothing. Could it be his ear? Wears a hearing aid. Or a side effect from his medication. Has happened about once a week or so. Hits fast then goes away almost as fast.
