My 79 Year Old Husband Is In Excellent Health But

My 79 year old husband is in excellent health but has a garlic intolerance that causes severe bloating, gas and eventually he vomits. He was diagnosed recently with a bacteria in his stomach and took a week of antibiotics. (HP I think). We just returned from Florida where he was sick daily. He has lost 5 pounds and can't keep anything down. He is also sleeping a lot more and has had3 episodes of leg weakness. His doctor is away until next week. He has tried Gaviscon, Rolaids. What do you suggest?
