My 7yo Son Coughs Every Time We Eat. He Isn't

My 7yo son coughs every time we eat. He isn't sick, no health problems. Just every single time he eats, he has to cough after every single bite, sometimes more than once. Been 6 months or more. Could this be a tonsil issue? It's frustrating for him, and for us! Help!
