My 8 Months Old Has Been Suffering From Diarrhea For

My 8 months old has been suffering from diarrhea for last 25 days....I didn't even give any medicine...His weight gain has been ok. Got his stool routine done and the report says wbc count is 10-12/hpf. His pediatrician has prescribed taxim-o for five days. Anything to worry? What has caused this infection?
