My 8 Year Old Daughter Snores Horrendously, Wakes Her Self

My 8 year old Daughter snores horrendously, wakes her self up choking. Her breathing at times is heavy while awake. and has gotten worse the last few weeks. she is a lil over weight. but has also been having problems with bowel movements, what could be cause this?
