My 8 Year Old Daughter Began Coughing Saturday Night And

My 8 year old daughter began coughing Saturday night and woke with a cold. Later on Sunday she developed a fever and has had it since along with a cold and coughing. She doesn't have any pain or discomfort. How long should I let the fever persist before I have her checked. The fever ranges between 99 and 102
