My 8 Year Old Daughter Had A Bad Cough With

My 8 year old daughter had a bad cough with a fever last week but seemed to be getting better. She went to a soccer tournament this weekend but said it hurt when she ran and needed to sit out the entire game. She seems really fatigued, falling asleep in the car to and from the games. Should I be concerned?
