My 8 Year Old Daughter Is Having Trouble With Schoolwork.

My 8 year old daughter is having trouble with schoolwork. She studies her spelling words for an hour, 10 seconds after she lays her word list down and we have a practice test, she absolutely cannot remember how to spell the words. Thus keeps me awake at night, terrified she is going to fail the 2nd grade. Could she have ADHD?
