My 8 Year Old Daughters' Stomache Has Been Hurting For

My 8 year old daughters' stomache has been hurting for weeks. We saw a doctor who prescribed a stool softener and was told that she has a mild case of constipation but I'm starting to think that maybe she could have a food allergy. She's always been healthy and is up to date on vaccines. What kind of doctor should I see about a possible food allergy?
