My 81 Year Old Mother Had A Resting Heart Beat

My 81 year old mother had a resting heart beat of 135 yesterday and 145 today. Her health has been declining and she has a lot of anxiety. Can we wait until her next doc appt to find out what is going on, get her to the doc tomorrow or is this an emergency?
