My 84 Year Old Father Who Has Been Undergoing Dialysis

My 84 year old father who has been undergoing dialysis for a little over a year now and a couple days ago he had a short period where he couldn't talk. Cat scan didn't show signs of a stroke but since this happened he has become evn weaker and can barely even walk. I believe SOMETHING has happened. Any ideas?
