My 87 Year Old Husband Fell - Some Stitches On

My 87 year old husband fell - some stitches on forehead and pretty bad skin tear on arm. P A gave prescription for 500 mg generic Keflex 4 times per day as preventative medicine. I think that is way too much. What do you think? Thank you.
