My 88 year old mother has an hourglass shaped aaa. The larger lobe at last measurement was a little over 5 cm. She has recently been experiencing what she calls back spasms. Pain in her back at the waist area and sometimes radiating around toward her groin. Could this be a sign of the aaa growing bigger?
