My 88 Year Old Mother In Law Fell Backwards And

My 88 year old mother in law fell backwards and hit the back of her head on the floor (rug). Did not lose consciousness and does not appear to have any symptoms whatsoever. The fall was broken somewhat hitting tailbone first. Would it be prudent to still have a doctor check her out. She really doesn't want to go to a doctor.
