My 89 year old mother fell 12 days ago and hit her the right side of her head on concrete. She showed no symptoms, had no broken bones. 6 days ago she began to move her left arm and leg convulsively. Her speech is affected. She slurs her words and makes exaggerated movements with her mouth to speak. The symptoms become worse in the evening. She has had a gradual dementia but it has worsened. A CT showed no hematoma or stroke.
