My 89 Year Old Mother Had A Fire Engine Red

My 89 year old mother had a fire engine red face about 3 weeks ago her skin then dryed up and peeled then it moved down to her chest, neck and arms and now it is on her shins and now her legs and feet are very swollen, she says it itches and burns. She has been off all her meds and vits and put on predisone and benydrill (sorry about miss spelled words)
she aches all over and sores on her lips and is hard to eat - she has lost about 20 lbs. she had been at the ER twice and pcp dr 5 times and 2 times to the derma doc. can you help.
