My 9 Year Old Daughter Is Asthmatic And Has Developed

My 9 year old daughter is asthmatic and has developed a really heavy cold and cough since christmas day. She was seen at nhs24 yesterday afternoon at 2pm and was prescriped a course of antibiotics of clarithromycin 250mg twice a day. She had a slight crackle in her chest when see was seen however within a few hours off being seen she is constantly coughing and is not getting any peace. She has also been given 8 5mg prednesalone tablets last night and this morning which hasnt helped. Should she not be showing signs of improvement by now. Her cough is like a barking seal and at times she has a massive coughing fit which is scarey for her aswell as myself as she is struggling to stop. She is also on montaluklast 5mg tablet per day and 2 puffs of 125 seretide inhalers twice a day x
