My 9 Yr Old Cocker Who Has,always Had Ear Problems

My 9 yr old cocker who has,always had ear problems started atopica in Feb. Had our wonderful happy dog back. In may my mother passed on and he was her bodyguard. While taking care of my mom in the end months doses of atopica were missed as well as ear cleaner and meds. In June one night I realized oh boy we haven't done ear meds so squirted cleanser and meds in ears before bed. Next day first time ever he has what they called idiopathic vestibular. He was laying on the floor looking at me sideways and I tried to get him to get up and he kind of slid on marble so I picked up and he was flayling in my arms. 1 hour later walked out of hospital just fine maybe little shaky but didn't have to carry. Stopped atopica 100 MG as he wouldn't take and dr said as long as taking blood tests just continue not to give. In July started inappropriate urination middle of the night, drinking lots of water, little wobbly. Back to the dr at uc Davis suggested mri ctscan. Local vet said didnt think mri, reflexes good, no ct scan, brain is good as he knew which closed door to go into after bloodwirk done to doubkecheck anemia numbers which was same as week before.! She felt maybe check the gut. Took blood urine. No diabetes,no cushings, no uti, liver kidneys good slightly anemic. But was reproducing red blood cells. Also back in may derma dr said take off Royal canine Rabbit as gaining weight. Never the same. Tried various foods very fussy. Started cooking 2 chicken breasts a day, csrrots,sweet potatoes, green beans, cottage cheese. Napoleon had Never vomited never diarrhea, never a fever. Eating fine LOSING 12 POUNDS!!! 4 months later too many blood tests 2 ultrasounds now at UC DAVIS still don't know what's wrong. Nothing shows cancer but resident dr says to me before all results of blood work xray, and ultrasound in"cancer,cancer,cancer, inflammatory, infectious"is how she guesses it. First ultra sound no fluid, liver kidneys good, gallbladder a little "fludgey" but not concerned. 2nd ultrasound month later dr think spleen and liver little enlarged orders denamarin,vitamin e, gallbladder med to stir up bile and royal canine L/D . No masses ever seen, We've heard from 2 diff places words like lymphoma, myeloma although no sores anywhere! His globulins are up could be camcer coukd be inflammation. Weve heard "BUT COULD BE INFLAMMATION" after every mention of cancer. Said atopica would be the med for that that we could try getting back on that but want to do EXPLORATORY SURGERY 4 thousand dollars later. I hate to make it about money but this is getting ridiculous. He eats fine, poops fine, no fever, the inappropriate urination lasted about a week, no over thirst, going up and down stairs fine, just not gaining weight and now has had 3 different days in last month of seeming confused with eyes squinty. Getting weaker. The original plan,was to find out why slight anemia. 6 months later NOTHING DIFFERENT
