My 90 Y/o Husband Took Tramadol For Pain For About

My 90 y/o husband took Tramadol for pain for about 7 or 8 days. His personality has radically changed. Could the med a reason? He is irrational, not sleeping during night, and his walking is unsteady. I read it takes between 5-7 days to leave the system but could be longer with elderly. Thoughts? Thank you.
