My 92 Year Old Mother Wakes Up With Bright Red

My 92 year old mother wakes up with bright red hands and feet. Her left calf is also red and very warm. Both ankles are puffy. After being up for 20 minutes or so the color is back to normal as is the tempature of her calf. The ankles stay puffy. She takes coumadin, a diuretc and a blood pressure me. She does not want to see her doc about this, but I am curious if this is something I should make her check out?
