My 93 Year Old Father Who Has Severe Memory Issues

My 93 year old father who has severe memory issues and general dementia has an increasing problem which his fabulous in home care givers are increasingly alarmed: He has sneezing fits during which he vomits from his mouth and nose. The fluid shoots out with each sneeze. At least once each day. He has for some months awaken each morning with regurgitated mess on his pillows and sometimes pjs, blanket, etc. He loves to eat, has never been overweight (just a few pounds in the last few years as he has become unable to continue his daily vigorous outdoor activities), and of course never remembers that he has just eaten a snack or a meal. Sometimes he vomits at church while sitting quietly, while food shopping, etc. He is also becoming increasingly incontinent. Are his body systems just closing down? Your thoughts? many thanks,
