My 94 Year Old Mother Is Having Some Very In-depth

My 94 year old mother is having some very in-depth mows surgery on her face for a second time. What would be the best pain medication to ask the doctor for? She is in early Alzheimer's disease (gets confused easily) and so we are also going to ask the doctor for an anti-anxiety drug. What would you suggest? Also, would there be a mild sleeping pill or would the pain med do that?
