My 95-1/2 Year Old Father Had His Upper Teeth Removed

My 95-1/2 year old father had his upper teeth removed on Dec. 7 and has finished taking the prescribed medicine on Dec. 14, but has not had a bowel movement yet. It is Friday.... he has tried a stool softener and has had some "tea" made to help . Yogi- Get regular. He's eating lightly but his diet has changed
since surgery...as he can't eat raw foods right now. He is a regular salad eater and fruits...
Is there something more you can recomend and when is it urgent to get him to the doctor if he continues not to have a movement?
