My 9year Old Son Got His Upper Lip Cut From

My 9year old son got his upper lip cut from inner side with the impact of cricket bad during playtime 2 days back. He is taking now ibugesic plus daily dose and Height local application. As the cut is inner side of lip ans so always wet and gained pus also. Should he take some antibiotic or multivitamin to heal faster? Pls advice.
