My Cockatoo Bit My Index Finger And Has Been Bleeding.

My Cockatoo bit my index finger and has been bleeding. I have cleaned it with disinfectant and got Savlon antiseptic cream and a plaster. I had a tetanus shot 3 year ago. It is not a large bite but did break the skin and keeps bleeding when I tough something. Have I sued the correct treatment for it as I don't ant to over react.
