My Dad Aged 69 Has Got Leg Fracture On 04.09.15

My Dad aged 69 has got leg fracture on 04.09.15 and post operation on 07.09.15 , he is taking bed rest. Doctor prescribed Minipress 2.5 mg in morning + Amlong 5mg both morning and night due to high blood pressure.Now the blood presuure is appearing normal 120/75 . can we reduce the dose of Amlong to one time ? if , yes when we can take ie, better in morning or in night.
