My Dad Has Lumbar Stenosis And We Have Tried Epidural

My Dad has lumbar stenosis and we have tried epidural infusions but the Dr just decided to try gabapentin which was started on 11/2/16 . He is on paxil 30 mg for panic attacks and trazadone to help him sleep. He has dementia. He had bouts of agitation but today had a really bout of anger and agitation. We stopped the gabapentin. Also he takes naproxen 220 mg once a day. My brothers first reaction was the new med?? My daughter told me I should have just trusted my Dr and not hel the med. I am notifying the psychiatrist and the spine pain center tommorrow. What do you think?
