My Daughter Just Had A Biking Accident Landing On Her

My Daughter just had a biking accident landing on her buttocks , has been diagnosed with a 10 % compression fracture of the vertebrae . Is in a lot of pain, wIting now for the Neurologist. She is in late40's so not ever having an Osterperosis problem. Can you give any more explanation of prognosis for such a thing?
